|Team Name:||Wirral Softball|
|Sport or Activity:||Softball|
|Contact Person:||Jen .|
|Team Information:||Co-ed slowpitch softball is a lot like baseball in terms of the rules, but because the ball is pitched slowly to each batter, it's easy to hit the ball and succeed at the sport's central skill.
It is a recreational, social and enjoyable game that's easy to learn and play, even for people who are not athletes or don't have much experience of team sports. The 10-a-side teams are made up of 5 men and 5 women, and the fact that men and women play together in the same team and on an equal level gives the sport a social buzz. It's a great way to meet some new people, have some fun, and also get fit.
This is a brand new sport for the Wirral with backing from Wirral Borough Council and BSUK, the sports national development agency.
Everyone is welcome to come and play - male or female, new or experienced, young or old! So, if you are interested
in playing softball come along on a Sunday, or email for more information.
Softball is on every Sunday at 2pm on the football fields at Arrowe Park, Arrowe Brook Road.
